Just how do you cope grief? A question that has plagued my mind ever since my dad lost his mother and brother in the space of a few years. To hold back the emotion, to continue your life as normal as those close and dear to you are no longer there. At just 23 years old, I have already witnessed the devastation and heart ache that cancer can cause. Nothing can prepare someone for the emotions they are about to receive, and live with. It is these circumstances that has led me here today – my desire to do more and give more has had a new sense of purpose.

I am a fully qualified level 3 personal trainer and soon to be Sports Massage Therapist, and I have worked closely with Mo for the last two years. For me, my passion lies in helping others become their best possible self. When this opportunity came about to undertake some of the fantastic challenges that lie ahead I knew that this was something I had to do. In 2016, I finished the Yorkshire 3 Peaks challenge but now I want more. I am passionate more than ever to make a difference to someone’s life, and if I can make the smallest bit of difference, then I will know that this was all worth it.
