a little bit about me
On the 3rd of February 2017, my world came crumbling down. On my mum and dads 49th wedding anniversary, my mum was diagnosed with lung cancer, and it was terminal. A surreal sense of disbelief engulfed me. This kind of thing only happens to other people and not us, but the reality is that it was happening to us. My mum was my hero, my inspiration and my best friend. She was inspirational to us all. She organised her affairs, yet she still remained the strong woman, wife, mother and grandmother throughout her last days.
My last words I said to to my believed mum was that I miss her forever.
