Many of my close friends and family have been unfortunate to have known the devastation that is caused by cancer. They are all still coming to terms with how to carry on with their lives after losing someone special.

I will be taking on a series of challenges in memory of my uncle Brian and our close family friend Kath, who both lost their battle against cancer.

It is my desire to do something about it, which has led me to join this fantastic challenge.  I want to wipe out statistics like “Every two minutes someone in the UK is diagnosed with cancer” and “Cancer causes more than one in four of all deaths.” I want to make a difference to someone’s life and know these challenge will help do this.
